Excerpt - “I was pursuing my dream. I still am pursuing my dream. Because a dream isn’t a destination or a finish line, it is the journey of the body and mind and heart and soul in pursuit of what makes you happy. In pursuit of what you love. It is something that, if you are truly chasing, you can never fail by not reaching some peak or apex, since the glory of a dream is never-ending. You can only fail if you choose not to follow it.”
What is the most awesome thing you have ever done in them? Or what is your favorite place the have taken you?

Every time I am in a city staying at a hostel, I tend to stick around that area because of the free wifi, the coffee shops feeding my addiction, and the convenience of having food close by.
I haven’t explored much of Wellington so far even though I have been here since New Years Eve, and I feel I am missing out on the hidden awesomeness that the Capital of New Zealand has to offer!
So, I decided to lace up my Chucks and go for a little stroll…well actually, a long stroll. There is a beautiful church perched atop a hill above Oriental Parade, and I made that my goal for the day. Get up there, explore, and see Wellington from high above the city.

Argh! Someone stole my Under Armor shoes that I use for running and hiking. We all know that Chucks are gnarly, but not good for hiking AT ALL.
I know there are plenty of other things to donate and give to during the holiday season, but if you wouldn’t mind even donating $1 to my “I need a pair of Converse Hiking Shoes Because Some Douche Stole My Other Pair” fund, I would love you FOREVER!
Right now I am living off of my writing, and since that just started, it isn’t bringing in funds for a new pair of shoes. New Zealand is epically gorgeous, but has crazy terrain, and my Chucks just won’t cut it.
If you would like to donate a small amount, here is the link: DONATE
If you choose to donate, please send me an email and a picture of your chucks as well so I can give you thanks! I will throw together a video for you all :)
