-These Chucks took me through the Epicenter Concert in California where I saw bands that were either coming back together or leaving: Big Boi, A day to Remember, Bush, Rise Against, 30 Seconds to Mars, Eminem, Blink 182 and Kiss. Most intense but best concert I have ever been to!
A stranger just said “bless you”
As I sneezed because of this horrid cold plaguing me…and to my surprise some delightful stranger said “bless you”. Where has common curtesy gone in America? Maybe all to California. It is very rare for someone to smile or ask a “how are you” in DC and that is one this I missed about certain parts if California. Thank you kind stranger, you made my miserable day a little better!
These are my “retired” Chucks. After the most epic concert of my life featuring Blink 182, Kiss, 30 Seconds to mars, Eminem, Rise Against and more they were obliterated by the 25,000 people pressing against me. I did recently break them out of it like Rocky Balboa…and I have to say, though a pair of Chucks my get old, they never give up ;)
